Project #2 Elements of design

Image
Description: With this activity, we worked in groups (don't have to) and created a PowerPoint about the elements of design. Everyone goes and takes pictures of things that represent each principle of design. For example, movement, I took a picture of someone walking to show movement. Project #1 Foot Print Introduction

Image
Description: This activity was used to introduce ourselves to the classroom. We traced our footprint on construction paper and cut it out. We were to include names and symbols while using three different media types to represent aspects of our lives. Some of the supplies I used with my footprint were crayons, markers, pens, pencils, colored pencils, scissors, and glue. (Rubric below) Extension activity: As a future teacher, I could extend this activity by having students measure items in the room like a desk, how many steps to the door from the front of the room, etc. Then have students think pair share about how many steps they counted and why they think each student has a different amount of steps.
