Project #2 Elements of design
Description: With this activity, we worked in groups (don't have to) and created a PowerPoint about the elements of design. Everyone goes and takes pictures of things that represent each principle of design. For example, movement, I took a picture of someone walking to show movement. After you take all the photos, you add them to the PowerPoint and provide a definition for whatever grade level you picked.
Extension Activity: Each student creates a design journal (either digital or physical). This journal will be used to document their ongoing exploration of the elements of design in their environment

Space
I chose this picture of a field for space because if you look closely at the picture you can see the trees and bins are small, which shows they are far away.
Balance
I chose this picture for balance because if you were to fold this picture in half, it would be the same on both sides. It is equal on both sides.
Movement
I chose this picture of people walking for movement. You can see their feet lifting up as they are walking.

Color
This is a picture of flowers in front of a house. I chose this picture for color, because of the different colors of flowers.

Unity/Variety
This is a picture of my art binder. I chose this picture because it shows a variety of plants, they all aren't the same. It also shows a variety of greenhouses.
